About the Job

Our client is a specialized quality assurance and supply chain firm managing private-label brands for a major international retail group. They are looking for a food industry professional to lead the development, planning, and sourcing of food products, ensuring high quality from production to the shelves of retail stores in Hong Kong and overseas.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full product lifecycle from food development and proposals to production and delivery.
• Drive new product planning, sourcing, and sales promotion strategies for private-label food items.
• Follow up on production and supply chain logistics for group companies and retail stores.
• Oversee quality management and audit duties for food production.
• Coordinate with suppliers and distributors regarding pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Review and ensure compliance with food labeling regulations and relevant legislation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the food industry, specifically in product creation, sourcing, or promotion.
• JLPT N2 or above Japanese 
• Fluent in Cantonese/Mandarin and English to communicate effectively with regional suppliers.
• Proven experience of food manufacturing processes, design, and market trends.
