Infrastructure Project Manager

Position: Infrastructure Project Manager (NEW Headcount)

Our client is a premier technology solutions provider seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Project Manager to join their team. This is a newly created position focused on leading enterprise-level IT infrastructure initiatives from end-to-end planning through to successful execution.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Lead medium to large-scale infrastructure projects, including Microsoft 365 implementations, server virtualization, cloud migrations, and network upgrades.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for client engagement, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and expectations are managed.
• Control & Governance: Maintain full responsibility for project control, including budget oversight (multi-million yen scale) and vendor management throughout the lifecycle.
• Strategic Execution: Proactively identify project risks, mitigate issues, and drive critical decision-making to ensure timely delivery.
• Documentation: Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including detailed project plans, status reports, and technical design documents.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, with a proven track record of leading large-scale projects as a Project Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).Deep understanding of Server Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS).Solid grasp of network design, security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Previous experience within IT consulting firms, System Integrators (SIers), or corporate IT departments.
• Business level in English; Japanese speaking is an advantage.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage complex project structures.
