Our client is an asset management firm offering tailored financial solutions, exclusive investment opportunities, and wealth management services to institutional investors, family offices, and high‑net‑worth individuals across Asia.
Role Overview You will support Japanese‑speaking clients by managing account opening, handling documentation, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This position combines client service, operational support, and compliance tasks in a dynamic financial environment.
Location: Admiralty
Working hours: 5‑day work week (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:30)
Salary: negotiable
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full account opening process for securities and private banking clients
- Review and validate client documents in line with internal standards and SFC requirements
- Provide translation and communication support between Japanese and English for client interactions and documentation
- Act as the main contact point for Japanese clients, delivering responsive and professional service
- Assist with daily operations related to securities and fund transactions
- Support compliance reporting and ad hoc regulatory tasks
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless onboarding and transaction settlement
Qualifications
- Native Japanese proficiency or JLPT N1 certification
- Strong command of English in both written and spoken communication
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Proactive and adaptable, able to manage multiple responsibilities in a small team setting
- Prior experience in financial services operations or client service preferred
- SFC Type 1, 4, 9 licenses or interest in obtaining them is an advantage
- Cantonese or Mandarin skills beneficial but not essential
