Currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for several schedules.
Schedule: Wed. - Sun. 7am-3pm (FT) This is a permanent position.
Sun, Mon, Tues. - 3pm-11pm. This is a permanent position.
You will be working as part of a team in a mobile crisis unit that is dispatched in the Philadelphia area.
Position Overview:
To identify a crisis and provide behavioral health crisis prevention/services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention in unusual settings.
- Perform mental health assessments and evaluations.
- Coordinate, consult, collaborate and make recommendation on treatment planning and client disposition in conjunction with the Mental Health Emergency Services Coordinator (delegate) and on-call psychiatrist as needed.
- Work with police in emergency situation involving behavioral health clients, including clinical assessment, psychiatric consults, on-site intervention and applications for commitments.
- Provide family intervention in clients homes in emergency situation. Act as mediator and support system for families of individuals in crisis in a respectful and sensitive manner.
- Act as petitioner when appropriate.

Position Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program and currently licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. (LPN)
- Experience in crisis prevention/intervention in psychiatric emergency services, family counseling, outpatient or inpatient counseling.
- Ability to intervene with acting out, and aggressive clients.
- Ability to function with minimal supervision in a variety of non-tradition settings such as private homes, shelters, police stations, etc.
- Valid Pennsylvania drivers license and excellent driving record.

Salary: $33.00 - $34.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- LPN in Pennsylvania (Required)
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record (Required)
