What the role will entail:

•  Implement an integrated design based on requirements cascaded by performing an impact assessment of all affected modules/systems.
• Develops and documents simple to complex designs. 
• Identify parameter changes required to implement the design
• Provide input to the estimates for the solution.
• Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.
• Reviews own design prior to submission for unit head review.
• Follow processes related to software development.
• Implement defined design principles.
• Minimize customizations by designing for out of the box solutions.
• Present the solution design in the Design Review Board.
• Report status of work items assigned to unit head
• Resolve incidents that require design work items in accordance with committed service level agreements
• Resolve service requests in accordance to indicated deadline
• Revisit design of work items requiring optimization.

What were looking for:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Management/Engineering
• 8 years work experience in solution delivery, 7y of which in a banking or similar FSI environment
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating among cross-functional teams across the organization
• Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully utilizing soft skills (effective communication, problem solving and decision making, negotiation, financial analysis)
• Bank-specific training or experience in Retail/Corporate Banking, Loans and Mortgage, Consumer Financing, Wealth Management and Marketing required
• Direct experience in EastWest Bank-specific Core Systems (T24, Narada) an advantage
