About the job Data Analyst and Automation Engineer

Your tasks:

  • Performing data analyses using data analytics, data science, and big data methodologies;
  • Automating calculations and data pipelines across all development stages;
  • Creating user-friendly visualizations of data and key metrics;
  • Automating workflows and processes within a Cloud environment;
  • Managing the information portals for the bank's CEO units;
  • Advising auditors on leveraging data and automation to address their professional inquiries;
  • Developing innovative technological solutions to implement projects;
  • Supporting data quality assurance processes within the team;

Your profile:

  • Practical experience in applying data analytics/data science within a data analytics / data science team team in a financial or industrial company.
  • Proven experience in understanding business data and performing data analyses using tools such as SQL, Hive-QL, or Spark.
  • Experience in Machine Learning would be considered an advantage..
  • Solid programming skills, particularly in Python.
  • Practical experience in Data Visualization using Qlik or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Cloud technology and Cloud-native services.
  • Strong analytical skills to decompose complex datasets and tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills demonstrating creative and strategic thinking to produce effective results and develop innovative tools
  • Strong self-responsibility to independently develop and enhance products
  • Fluency in English - both written and spoken, German would be considered an advantage;
  • University degree in IT, finance or relevant.
