About the job Production Forecast & Data Analyst
In this position you will be reporting to the Team Manager Data Analytics and Automation in our DACHI Region, supporting in forecasting and analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
· Responsible for production related topics such as the development of traffic forecasts (flights, weighted flights, passengers, bags, cargo/mail, delays) on annual, monthly and weekly level
· Creation of the yearly production budget per station
· Creation of KPIs as well as plan/actual comparisons to ensure the quality of the production forecast
· Consolidation, presentation and visualization of complex data for better management accessibility and decision making
· Driving the implementation of intelligent traffic forecasting solutions as well as the standardization within Swissport to improve planning accuracy
· Continuous maintenance and improvement of planning basics (data and processes) including automation efforts, comprehensive data analysis, statistics and proposals for solutions
· Application-related maintenance of the planning systems PIMS, Load-Cast (VBA) and DCM (updating, problem and error tracking, adjustments)
· Liaising with airline customers, local operations, management and partners
· Advising the organizational units on production adjustments & optimizations
· Support for resource planning / operations controlling
· Simulation of business case scenarios and the calculation of tenders
· Collaboration in projects throughout Switzerland-Germany-Austria-Italy
Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree as Industrial Engineer, Business Analytics, Data Science or comparable with several years of experience in the service industry
Hard Skills
· Business and Data Analytics, Data Visualization and Presentation
· Proficient in Data Engineering (integration and maintenance of flight data)
· Fluent in English
System Knowledge
· Mastery of Business Applications: PowerBi, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
· Understanding of relational database structures

Preferred requirements:
