Manufacturing Engineering Manager

On behalf of one of our clients, an automotive manufacturing company, we are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The company is planning to build a new greenfield production facility in Ruse.

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for establishing, developing, and managing a solid and professional local Manufacturing Engineering organization to ensure a smooth ramp-up and serial production in Ruse.

What you will be doing:

• Local coordination of new product introduction activities from design freeze to SOP stages
• Participate and collaborate with the team along product stages, from Inquiry to design freeze
• Assures the communication channel between the manufacturing plant, engineers, and local customers about product technical definitions/specifications
• Coordinator for all technical topics and products related to plant after SOP (e.g. change management)
• Lead periodic meetings with the local team and project manager to properly track project milestones
• Analyzes and improves production process flow for product portfolio
• Performs regular synchronization and reporting with GG project managers by the communication plan
• Prepares and manages local information (data, presentations, cockpit, reports, etc.) as evidence of project task fulfillment
• Leads local action lists as a result of samples built since its construction up to closure
• Is responsible for the stoppage of uncertain and/or unstable production processes and locking of nonconforming material.
• First contact for all local (technical) topics during the whole product life cycle.

Requirements:

• Work experience: 5 years at a manufacturing company
• Technical University degree
• Fluent (in writing and speaking) in the English language
• Experience in rampUp environment
• Engineering background
• Project and Change Management: teamwork, leadership and taking responsibility
• Ability to work as part of a flexible, fast-changing environment;
• Strong business mindset and exceptional collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and solution-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
