On behalf of one of our clients, a leading telecommunication company, we are currently looking for Desk Based Account Manager to join their team.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage and develop existing client accounts, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and go-to person;
  • Upselling and cross-selling to existing customers in addition to developing new business opportunities to meet sales targets;
  • Understanding client needs and proposing solutions and quotes to meet those needs;
  • Managing your customers existing revenue to minimise churn and manage renewals;
  • Managing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing issues promptly;
  • Develop customer relationships through excellent communication and understanding of their business;
  • Reactively manage all inbound queries such as quotes, service and billing;
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the company`s products and services;
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings;
  • Keeping accurate records of client interactions via our CRM system
  • Collaborating internally and championing the customer to enhance the overall customer experience;
  • Lead generation using campaigns and social media to promote products to existing and new customers.

Ideally, your skills will include:

  • Fluent written and spoken English and German are essential. Additional European languages are beneficial;
  • Some level of sales experience with a track record of achieving targets and revenue growth objectives or a proven ability to deliver excellent customer experience and develop positive relationships;
  • A confident communicator via digital media (zoom, email etc);
  • A passion and experience in delivering excellent customer satisfaction;
  • Confidence, energy, passion and an ambition for personal development;
  • High level of professionalism;
  • Good time management skills with problem solving skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience as a junior account manager or relevant sales function;
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred but not required);
  • Apprenticeship or Degree in business, marketing or related field, or similar competency.
