This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of working from home 3 days a week while collaborating with your team in our state-of-the-art office in Athens for 2 days. For candidates applying from outside of Athens, we offer a comprehensive relocation package, including flight tickets and accommodation to help you settle in.

The Role

As a German-Speaking Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients, driving business growth, and identifying new opportunities within the German-speaking market. You will act as a strategic advisor to your clients, helping them maximize the value of their digital media solutions and ensuring their long-term success. This is a sales-focused role where your ability to build trust, understand client needs, and close deals will be paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of German-speaking clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
  • Sales & Upselling: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, actively promoting new features, products, and services to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs analyses to understand client challenges and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Market Expertise: Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical support and product teams to ensure client issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

What We're Looking For

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent proficiency in German (C2 level) is essential for daily client communication. A minimum of B2 English proficiency is required for internal team collaboration and training.
  • Sales Experience: A proven background in a sales or account management role, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a confident and persuasive style.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose creative solutions.
