Step into a strategic sales role in Barcelona, acting as the primary link between modern enterprises and cutting-edge cloud technology. As a Business Development Representative, you will spearhead outbound growth initiatives for a suite of premier cloud products. Your mission is to identify high-potential prospects, analyze their operational hurdles, and introduce them to innovative cloud solutions that drive efficiency and digital transformation.
You will be the initial point of contact for a diverse range of businesses across the EMEA region, building rapport and qualifying needs to funnel high-value opportunities toward the appropriate sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation: Surpass quarterly Sales Qualified Opportunity (SQO) quotas and hit consistent daily/weekly activity benchmarks.
- Strategic Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound engagement—including cold calling and email—targeting C-suite executives to educate them on cloud infrastructure benefits.
- Solution Mapping: Identify technical "pain points" and gather requirements to align business challenges with tailored cloud service offerings.
- CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records within Salesforce, ensuring lead, contact, and opportunity data is accurate for all stakeholders.
- Account Profiling: Research and manage assigned territories to pinpoint organizations with the highest growth potential.
Candidate Requirements
- Linguistic Proficiency: Fluency in German (C2) and English (C1) is essential.
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant professional experience in IT sales or cloud technology.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud computing principles and prior experience selling or implementing major cloud platforms.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of exceeding quotas in a fast-paced, phone-based sales environment with a focus on cold prospecting.
- CRM Mastery: High proficiency in Salesforce or similar enterprise-grade CRM tools.
Market-Specific Skills (DACH Region)
- Cultural Intelligence: Comprehensive understanding of German business etiquette, local market trends, and regional nuances.
- Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of local compliance standards, particularly GDPR and data privacy laws.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to navigate complex corporate structures and address sophisticated inquiries regarding ROI and platform integration.
