Duties and responsibilities:
- Optimization and lead of sophisticated server-side applications using JavaScript and Node.js
- Drive architectural decisions and provide expertise to enhance the scalability and efficiency of backend systems
- Design and maintain complex databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Integrate external APIs and services, as well as architect and implement custom APIs
- Mentor and guide middle and junior developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend, testing, and other company departments
- Innovate and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack
Skills & experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript and Node.js development
- Proven track record in designing and implementing complex architectural solutions
- Expertise in optimizing server-side applications for high performance and scalability
- Proficient in database design and management, including experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of security principles in the context of backend development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to propose and implement effective solutions
