Job Openings Strategic Client Growth Advisor

About the job Strategic Client Growth Advisor

Strategic Client Growth Advisor (Remote)

About The Role

We are hiring a Strategic Client Growth Advisor to oversee and grow a portfolio of client engagements, working directly with optometry practice owners and doctors to help them make smart, strategic decisions that drive long-term business growth.

This is not a traditional sales job.

  • Theres no cold calling.
  • No smile and dial culture.
  • No chasing leads or arbitrary activity quotas.

Instead, this is a consultative, relationship-driven role that leverages the skills many professionals develop in sales, entrepreneurship, or business advisory work — with a focus on strategy, retention, and long-term client value.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to your clients, helping them understand what to do next, why it matters, and how it impacts their business.

This role is ideal for someone who excels at:

  • Fostering trust and maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Communicating with confidence, clarity, and professionalism
  • Demonstrating the value of products and services without pressure
  • Thinking critically and strategically — like a business owner
  • Adapting quickly, learning new concepts, and navigating change
  • Solving problems and identifying opportunities for growth

If your background is in sales, entrepreneurship, consulting, or client advisement, we encourage you to explore this opportunity — even if you have little to no formal marketing experience.

Key Responsibilities

Client Portfolio Ownership

You will manage a portfolio of established client engagements, serving as trusted Strategic Advisor for each practice.

This means you are responsible for:

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for your clients
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships that drive high retention and client satisfaction
  • Developing a deep understanding of each clients business model, challenges, and growth objectives
  • Leading high value, agenda-driven meetings to assess client needs and make strategic recommendations
  • Helping clients clearly understand the value, ROI, and business impact of our work
  • Proactively identifying risks to client satisfaction, retention, or performance and addressing them early and decisively

You are a fiduciary to your clients. Your success depends on earning trust, demonstrating value, and delivering results over time.

Performance in this role is measured by client health, retention, growth, and long-term value — not daily sales activity metrics or pressure-based quotas.

Strategic Growth Advisement

At the core of this role is helping clients grow intentionally — not reactively.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying growth opportunities and expanding client engagement through solutions aligned with their goals and priorities
  • Analyzing marketing and business performance to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities
  • Translating performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Using tools such as Google Analytics, CallRail, CRM platforms, business performance platforms, and other reporting systems to assess results
  • Positioning our marketing and SaaS solutions as strategic, value-driven investments
  • Applying strong judgment to prioritize recommendations based on impact, timing, and client readiness

Most critically, you turn data and performance signals into decisive guidance — helping clients understand what matters most and what actions will drive meaningful growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You don't work alone — but you do lead.

You will:

  • Partner closely with your dedicated Project Manager and a cross-functional team of marketing specialists, SaaS experts, and product managers
  • Translate client needs and strategic direction into clear internal plans and priorities
  • Maintain strong internal communication to protect client trust and outcomes

You own the start and end points of the clients strategy and work lifecycle:

  • You understand the clients needs and define the strategy
  • You align internal teams around that strategy
  • Your team executes; you review for quality and alignment
  • You deliver results in a way that clearly demonstrates value
  • You analyze performance, extract insights, and refine the next strategy

Importantly, you then report outcomes back to clients — clearly articulating impact, ROI, and the strategic value of the partnership.

What We Are Looking For

Were looking for a confident, entrepreneurial-minded professional who can balance strategy, relationships, and revenue ownership.

You likely:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in sales (relationship-focused), entrepreneurship, consulting, strategic advisement, or B2B client management
  • Are an exceptional communicator who naturally builds trust — verbally and in writing
  • Are comfortable overseeing and organically growing a portfolio of revenue
  • Can confidently lead value-driven conversations with executives, doctors, and practice owners
  • Stay calm, professional, and composed in high-stakes conversations
  • Are a creative problem-solver who uses data to inform decisions
  • Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Are coachable, always curious, and continuously learning
  • Thrive in a high-autonomy environment and take ownership of outcomes

Digital marketing experience is certainly a plus — but its not a requirement. We can teach platforms and tactics. Its much more challenging to teach judgment, curiosity, critical thinking, and how to build trust in relationships.

Work Requirements

  • 100% remote (work from home)
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Must have:
  • Personal computer
  • Quiet, professional workspace
  • Reliable high-speed internet
