Role Details
Role Title : Maintenance Operations Lead
Department: Maintenance
Reporting To: Department Head
Years of Experience [Requirement] : ]: +5 years
Qualifications: Bachelors in operations, management or logistics
Preferred Candidates or Plus Points for a Candidate:
- Strong written and spoken American English
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance operations (buses, coaches) is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Scheduling of daily work orders for technicians
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the Vehicle Maintenance System (VMS) software
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and minimize stockouts
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians to identify parts needs and forecast demand
- Develop and maintain Excel-based dashboards for tracking bus inspections and maintenance metrics
- Scheduling of daily work orders for technicians
- Maintaining next due summaries for all locations
- Taking up daily operations queries on maintenance communication portals
- Defect clearing if required
- Bridgestone mileage reporting
- Generating report for regular inspections of completed work to ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality guidelines
- Defects ageing report
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. This is crucial for compliance, warranty claims, and historical analysis
- Work closely with our operations and dispatch teams to ensure our buses are available and ready for their scheduled charters
Skills Requirements
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or fleet management software is a strong asset
- Ability to work responsibly and reporting in an orderly manner since work is completely remotely oriented
- Strong command of tools ; project trackers, and dashboard tools
- Experience with project management tools (Monday.com experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret data
- Proficient in inventory management systems
- Experience with process automation and project coordination
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with various departments
- Ability to own projects and deliver outcomes independently
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
- Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly

Other Requirements
Personal PC operating system to be used in probation period minimum requirements include Windows 11 and macOS 13 ; however, all employees should have personal laptop available at all times as a backup. Availability over call during US (Eastern Time) working hours at all time and excellent internet connectivity (preferred connection would be between (60 MBPS - 100 MBPS)
