[11-Month Contract/Education] Teachers' Assistant
Job Description:
The Teachers' Assistant plays a key supporting role in ensuring smooth classroom operations and the effective delivery of educational activities. This position provides both administrative and in-class support, contributing to a safe, organised, and engaging learning environment for primary school students.

- Working timing (Mon-Thur: 6.45 am to 3.45 pm; Fri: 6.45 am to 3.15 pm)
What You Will Be Doing
Administrative & Resource Support
- Assist teachers in preparing and verifying documents, teaching materials, and lesson resources.
- Maintain and update data records, including stocktaking and inventory management of teaching aids and classroom supplies.
- Compile and submit statistics and reports as required by the department.
- Support the Heads of Department with scheduling and coordination of relief duties.
Classroom & Student Support
- Serve as a relief teacher when necessary, delivering pre-assigned lessons and managing classroom routines.
- Assist in student supervision during key times such as daily arrival, dismissal, recess, and transitions between activities.
- Accompany students during external Learning Journeys, ensuring safety and discipline as a chaperone.
School Events & General Operations
- Support the smooth running of school events by assisting with logistics such as ushering, registration, and crowd control during events like Parent-Teacher Meetings, concerts, and open houses.
- Provide general support to school staff in daily operations as directed by the school management team.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent with at least two years of relevant working experience in a primary school.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with children in a school environment.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and school administrative systems is preferred.
