Technical Sales & Training Specialist (Swine BU)
About the job Technical Sales & Training Specialist (Swine BU)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and facilitate technical trainings, seminars, and workshops for sales teams and customers
- Develop and coordinate technical support programs in collaboration with Sales Management and Business Development
- Plan, execute, and monitor farm trials
- Address technical customer inquiries and resolve complaints
- Prepare technical presentations, seminars, and publications
- Provide technical support to Marketing and Sales Support teams
- Assist in quotation preparation and sales processes
- Build and maintain strong internal and external technical relationships
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Candidate Profile – Technical & Skills Requirements:
- Strong technical background in commercial swine production and/or agricultural engineering
- Preferably a Licensed Agriculture and Biosystems Engineer
- Good understanding of swine housing systems and the livestock and poultry equipment market
- Strong communication skills with confidence in delivering technical trainings and presentations
- Ability to diplomatically present and defend technical opinions
- Good business understanding and customer-oriented mindset
- AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
- - Proficient in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email)
Preferred Experience:
- Involvement with swine farmers’ associations
- Experience in the livestock and poultry housing and equipment market
