About the job Area Manager

Targets of the Position:

  1. Maximize the sales of his stores.
  2. Ensure that the store´s general and daily operations are conducted according to the companys rules and regulations.
  3. Take all steps necessary for having excellent store employees.
  4. Ensure the lowest possible costs and highest productivity for all operations and procedures.
  5. Work in cooperation with all other departments in order to let the Company achieve better results and be more successful.

Responsibilities:

  1. Visit each store at least every other day, check the cash balance (including safe) at least once a week and to draw up a store visit report per store at least once in a week. The store visit report has to be discussed in person with the Store Manager.
  2. Decide on hirings and dismissals of store employees, except Store Managers and deputies.
  3. Check the physical inventory counting of his stores and approves the counts.
  4. Ensure a good flow of information and documentation between the regional office and stores.
  5. Monitor competition and general market conditions in the area where his stores are located.
  6. Decide on expenses and repairs for stores up to Kz.
  7. Plan and organize the opening of new stores.
  8. Check whether the inventory and order procedures are according to the company´s rules and decisions.
  9. Train new store managers and reviews the training of cashiers.
  10. Decide on the holiday programs of store managers and deputies.
  11. Suggest new potential store managers to the Sales Manager and suggests dismissals.
  12. Participate in the Area Managers Meeting.
