Overview:
A leading multinational consultancy firm is seeking a Renewable Energy Director to lead and expand its renewable energy business in the Philippines. The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, lead business development initiatives, and oversee the execution of renewable energy projects across various sectors. This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with regional teams across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the renewable energy strategy to accelerate business growth and sustainability in the Philippines.
  • Lead business development efforts, strengthen client partnerships, and build a robust project pipeline in renewable energy.
  • Manage project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, quality standards, and profitability targets.
  • Oversee the full project lifecyclefrom planning to completion ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to sustainability standards.
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing technical and business development team.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, government entities, and industry stakeholders to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Provide expert technical and strategic advice during project development and execution phases.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication, quality assurance, and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, policies, and market trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy industry, including at least 7 years focused on renewable energy project management, engineering, or business development.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale renewable energy projects and driving business growth.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, cost management, and project economics.
  • In-depth understanding of Philippine renewable energy regulations, policies, and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Tagalog.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
