Overview:
A dynamic and growth-oriented company is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support for its business units. This role plays a key part in driving profitability, improving financial performance, and supporting commercial strategies across sales and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes at the business unit level.
- Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights on profitability, cost efficiency, and return on investment.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to management, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective measures.
- Support pricing strategies, incentive programs, and commercial decisions to ensure revenue growth and margin protection.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to evaluate new business opportunities, product launches, and investment cases.
- Lead cost control initiatives and promote process improvements to enhance operational and financial efficiency.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and internal controls while managing financial risks.
- Provide strategic and analytical support for business planning, expansion, and special projects.
- Mentor and guide team members to strengthen financial acumen across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CFA is an advantage).
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance, commercial finance, or business controlling roles.
- Strong background in pricing, financial analysis, and sales or commercial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in a multinational or construction-related industry is a plus.
