About the job Service Sales Associate (NCR)
Job Description:
Establishes industry contacts and client base
Gathers market information and provides feedback to the Service Sales Manager.
Participates in sales planning
Participates in sales blitzes and other company sales activities.
Visits owners, architects and general contractors for possible elevator and escalator requirements
Prepares quotations, data and specifications of elevators, dumbwaiters and escalators to be presented to owners, architects and/or contractors.
Negotiates with owners, architects and/or contractors for possible sales.
Calls on clients on a regular basis.
Prepares contracts and ensures that all documents related to a sale are complete and referred to Finance for approval
Coordinates with Service Manager/Supervisors with regards to service contracts.
Attends meetings with building owners, architects and/or general contractors to thresh out problems encountered at jobsites
Assists in collecting payments of his/her clients and obtains withholding tax certificates from his/her clients
Observe and commit to provide safe and healthy working conditions on performing the daily responsibilities
Use ACE and other tools to improve performance.
Performs other duties/ tasks that may be assigned from time to time, in support of the achievement of team goals or for own development purposes.
Qualifications:
College Graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Business or Marketing Management
2-5 years' experience in selling technical products or intensive sales and product training in lieu of such experience
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
