Global Process Owner - Warehousing

The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Warehousing is responsible for the strategic direction, design, implementation, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, inventory management, warehouse management, 3PL management, etc.) across all company operations, with direct impact on business efficiency, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. You will ensure that these processes align with FMCG global best practices meeting local operational realities in the Philippines. Your mission is to drive efficient, scalable, consistent, standardized, and compliant warehousing across the FG, RM, and PM supply network.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and maintain the global standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehousing: inbound receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, packing, dispatch, reverse logistics, and returns.
• Focus on processes related to Quality and Safety and EHS to ensure warehousing is 100% compliant and a safe place to work.
• Identify and implement global warehousing standards in line with GWP for all CPFI warehousing operations, ensuring adaptation where necessary (e.g., compliance with FDA, customs, local labor laws).
• Benchmark with leading local and global FMCG warehouses to incorporate best practices.
• Lead warehouse KAIZEN events, pilot and implement new technologies (e.g., WMS, warehouse robotics, barcode scanning, RFID, value stream mapping).
• Lead training initiatives, living documents, and change management for warehouse teams to achieve consistent adherence to processes.
• Define KPIs and its measuring mechanism (e.g., on-time dispatch, order accuracy, warehouse productivity, inventory discrepancies, order cycle time).
• Review performance data to identify and implement process improvement opportunities, leveraging lean principles, root-cause analysis, and warehouse automationready tools.
• Partner with regional and global colleagues across Manufacturing, Planning, Demand, IT (WMS/TMS), Procurement, Finance, and Quality to ensure process integration.
• Act as the local escalation point for process deviations, warehouse audits, and compliance incidents.
• Conduct regular process audits and readiness checks, ensuring readiness for internal and external quality/audit inspections.
• Maintain clear documentation, training logs, and process change records aligned to global standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in warehousing/distribution operations or supply chain, ideally with 35 years in process improvement or as a process owner in an FMCG, e-commerce, third-party logistics, or manufacturing setting preferably in Philippines.
• Expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics execution (intra/intercompany).
• Proven track record designing and implementing best-in-class warehousing processes
• Experience managing cross-functional, multiphase projects within budget and timeline constraints
• Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), APICS/CSCP, Certified Supply Chain Professional.
