About the job Sales Manager
Job Overview
Responsible for the success of the company's Sales department. The Sales Manager sets the goals for the team and produce monthly sales forecasting to see how well the team is doing in achieving the targets and budgets based on the revenue streams reported from month to month.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence.
- Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Sales Executives.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives.
- Optimize sales efficiency by identifying and implementing technology solutions.
- Implementation of ODOO system in direct sales processes.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in business administration or related field.
- Familiarity of wood production / processing is of advantage.
- Successful previous experience as a Sales Executive or Sales Manager,
consistently meeting or exceeding targets. - Committed to continuous learning especially on forestry and wood processing.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing sales contracts.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in the use of technology, including various software applications and systems.
- Strong critical thinking skills and make sound decisions.
