About the job QA/QC Manager
The QA/QC Manager – Civil Engineer oversees all quality assurance and quality control activities for high-rise construction projects, including data centers, hotels, and condominiums. This role ensures that all civil works meet design specifications, construction standards, and regulatory codes while maintaining high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Report quality performance metrics to senior management and provide actionable insights.
Strictly implement and enforce the company's Quality Management System, including policies, processes, procedures, guidelines, and bulletins.
Provide expert advice and support on QA/QC matters to all levels of management.
Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with accredited standards, codes, and approved quality management systems.
Evaluate the effectiveness of quality programs and recommend improvements to achieve project objectives.
Conduct site visits and quality audits; review and analyze audit results.
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), including tracking and resolution.
Oversee the quality and workmanship across all engineering disciplines (Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEPFS) throughout multidisciplinary operations.
Monitor and analyze QAQC data and prepare reports for the QAQC Division Head.
Manage deployment, mentoring, and performance appraisals of QAQC personnel, ensuring proper training and team development.
Collaborate on Project Execution Plans and participate in internal audits to maintain quality standards.
Implement quality programs, bulletins, method statements, and inspection/testing procedures.
Attend operational and corporate QAQC meetings as required.
Perform additional related duties as assigned to support continuous quality improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in high-rise construction projects (data centers, hotels, or condominiums).
- Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and practices (ACI, ASTM, local building codes).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
