Responsibilities

1. Sales Management

  • Develop and implement sales programs and strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead market scoping initiatives to identify and pursue new projects and clients.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, align on priorities, and provide guidance.
  • Monitor and drive progress on the sales team’s project pipelines and deliverables.
  • Oversee the execution of coverage plans and ensure full market coverage by the team.
  • Review quotations and ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Lead the preparation of accurate sales forecasts and ensure alignment with targets.
  • Recommend and review sales incentive and commission schemes.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to project execution, client concerns, and delivery delays.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing team for product complaints and supplier communications.
  • Assist Sales Executives in addressing requirements from Architects and Interior Designers.
  • Promote the effective use of selling tools and resources.
  • Develop and implement customer service initiatives to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Lead the team in crafting solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure collections are aligned with agreed client terms and timelines.

2. Training & Development

  • Identify the training and development needs of the sales team.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and client handling.
  • Mentor and coach Sales Executives to build strong sales capabilities.

3. Product Handling

  • Introduce new product offerings, including new series or innovations.
  • Participate in the selection and recommendation of new product lines.
  • Conduct orientations on new and existing stock items.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding marketing tools (catalogues, samples, displays, etc.) for new products.

4. Order & Inventory Coordination

  • Recommend product mix and ideal stock quantities for existing and new products.
  • Balance inventory between indent orders and in-stock items to maintain efficiency and availability.

5. Pricing & Negotiation

  • Recommend optimal pricing strategies to remain competitive and profitable.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to close deals effectively while protecting company margins.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related fields.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably within the home improvement, tiles, or interior finishes industry.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement abilities.
  • Solid understanding of sales forecasting, incentive planning, and pricing strategies.
  • Experience in handling both retail and project-based sales is a strong advantage.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time; may include Saturdays, holidays, or showroom events as required.
