The Equipment and Fixtures Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring the completeness and timely availability of equipment, fixtures, and store operational requirements in collaboration with the Procurement Department. This role oversees the entire management process for store equipment and fixtures, including project implementation, equipment placement, and administrative functions, to ensure efficient store operations. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with retail standards.

Responsibilities

1. Equipment and Fixtures Management:

  • Ensure the completeness of equipment, fixtures, supplies, and other store operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Department for purchase order placements, and scheduling of deliveries.
  • Coordinate with Procurement in relation to on-site setup and installation schedules of equipment and fixtures.
  • Oversee project implementation, ensuring equipment placement aligns with approved designs and layouts.
  • Perform hands-on detailing and coordination during store projects.
  • Conduct regular visits to stores under construction to monitor progress and ensure timely completion.

2. Project Coordination and Execution:

  • Maintain close coordination with Store Planning and Development, and Store Operations teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Work with Merchandising for required accessories, specific fixtures/equipment, Marketing for signage, store aesthetics, and Store Operations for any additional equipment or fixture needs for both new and existing stores.
  • Ensure that all equipment and fixture requirements are delivered on schedule as per contract agreement.
  • Consolidate and coordinate with Procurement track open issues, missing items, or additional requirements; communicate the snagging list and ensure timely resolution.

3. Vendor and Procurement Management:

  • Recommend fixtures and equipment based on quality and functionality.
  • Oversee the consolidation, tabulation, and ordering of fixed assets and fixtures for stores.

4. Inventory and Asset Management:

  • Review and manage the lifecycle of equipment, making recommendations for repairs or new purchases based on store needs and condition assessments.

5. Reporting and Administrative Functions:

  • Prepare and submit regular management reports on equipment and fixture needs, project progress, and inventory status to Chief Supply Chain and Business Development.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulatory requirements and company policies related to store equipment and fixtures.

6. Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform other relevant tasks as may be reasonably required to support store operations.
