BMS Engineer

As a BMS Engineer III, you will be a senior technical expert responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of complex Building Management Systems (BMS) projects. You will provide guidance to the engineering team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and act as a subject matter expert in BMS engineering. Your extensive experience and advanced technical skills will drive innovation and excellence in BMS solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of large-scale BMS projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to BMS Engineer I and II.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Conduct advanced system programming, configuration, and integration of BMS components.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex BMS equipment and systems.
• Perform in-depth system testing, verification, and performance analysis to optimize BMS operations.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulations, and propose innovative solutions to enhance BMS capabilities.
• Assist in the development of company-wide standards, processes, and strategies for BMS engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in BMS engineering or a similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in BMS, such as BACnet or Modbus
• Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to BMS engineering.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering large-scale BMS projects from design to implementation.
• Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and mentoring capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
