About the job Business Process Architect
As the IT Business Process Architect, you are responsible for defining, designing, and optimizing enterprise-wide business processes, ensuring they are enabled and supported by scalable, integrated IT systems. This role drives the alignment between business strategy and technology architecture, ensuring that systems deliver efficiency, compliance, and business value.
You will act as the bridge between business functions and IT teams, standardizing process frameworks, enabling digital transformation, and ensuring system design supports organizational agility and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Define and document end-to-end business process models, ensuring standardization and alignment with global best practices.
Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into process and system requirements.
Drive the design and implementation of ERP, workflow automation, and digital platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow).
Establish frameworks for process ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure seamless cross-functional integration across Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Sales, and IT.
Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies, identifying opportunities for automation, analytics, and digital enablement.
Develop training, change management, and knowledge transfer programs for process adoption.
Define KPIs to measure process efficiency, system performance, and business impact (e.g., cycle time, compliance rate, user adoption).
Serve as the escalation point for system-process misalignments and cross-functional conflicts.
Ensure IT-enabled processes meet regulatory, security, and internal compliance requirements.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Masters degree or certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, SAP/Oracle certifications) is a plus.
Work Experience
3-5 years of experience in business process management, IT systems design, or enterprise architecture.
At least 23 years in a process architect, solution architect, or process improvement role in multinational or consulting environments.
Proven success in implementing enterprise IT solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow).
Experience managing cross-functional IT transformation projects within budget and timelines.
Familiarity with digital transformation, ERP migrations, and system integration initiatives.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Hands-on experience with ERP/CRM/HRM platforms (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday).
Knowledge of workflow automation, RPA, and process mining tools.
Expertise in process modeling (BPMN), data integration, and ITIL service management.
Analytical capabilities to evaluate system performance, cost-benefit trade-offs, and digital enablement opportunities.
