ABOUT THE ROLE

• As a Software Engineer you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company, committed to delivering value added services in the investment product space
• You will be part of the IT Development department, responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining key business applications and services for our client facing pricing and trading Constructor platform
• As part of the Constructor Development team, you enjoy high visibility and the opportunity to make huge positive impact on the overall business performance

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Full-stack software development with strong focus on business value maximization
• Close collaboration with business analysts and business stakeholders for requirement gathering
• Participation in regular scrum activities
• Pro-active participation on team-organized efforts for technical platform improvements
• Unit testing and collaboration with quality assurance team for regression testing
• Collaboration with business support team to ensure stability of productive systems

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Business fluency in English
• Capacity and flexibility for context switching
• Strong professional experience in Scala and functional software development in general
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with relational database systems
• Experience with API design
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Familiarity with agile methodologies

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of Akka / Cats / FS2 / Kafka / Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins
• Professional experience in the financial industry
• Familiarity with CQRS and event sourcing
