Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-obsessed QA - Manual & Deployment Support Specialist to help us maintain quality across our product ecosystem and assist with device commissioning in the U.S. This role is perfect for someone with up to 1 year of experience and a sharp mind for both testing and client coordination.

You will work on testing mobile apps (Android/iOS), kiosk applications (Android), and web-based systems, and provide hands-on deployment support to clients helping them install applications, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with our engineering teams. Strong English communication and a customer-first mindset are essential.

This is a hybrid role based in G-11 Markaz, Islamabad, with flexible working hours however, availability during Pacific Time may be required during deployment phases.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of mobile apps (Android, iOS), kiosk apps, and web-based applications.
  • Log bugs and edge-case scenarios with precision and clarity.

  • Provide remote deployment support for smart kiosks across the U.S., including coordinating app installations and client troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Assist in maintaining clear documentation and QA logs.
  • Participate in testing cycles and regression testing as features are updated.
  • Help refine and enforce QA processes with an attention-to-detail mindset.

Requirements

  • 0 - 1 year of hands-on experience in manual QA or technical support.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app and web application functionality.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours to align with U.S. time zones during deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with Android-based kiosks or embedded systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Trello, or other issue tracking tools.

  • Interest in software QA best practices and product deployment cycles.
