We're hiring a Sales Manager to lead and grow our business development team in Worcester. This is a hands-on position; you'll actively sell while coaching a team of B2B reps. You'll manage day-to-day sales activity, drive performance, and expand our footprint by building and maintaining strong relationships with local business clients.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead a small team of business development reps focused on new client acquisition and account expansion
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals; monitor performance and provide coaching
- Develop and execute territory plans to grow market share
- Personally manage a portfolio of high-value B2B clients
- Conduct face-to-face client visits to build trust, assess needs, and deliver solutions
- Support your team in closing complex deals and overcoming objections
- Ensure CRM and sales reports are kept accurate and up to date
- Collaborate with operations and recruiting teams to ensure client satisfaction and service quality
- Identify gaps in team performance or market coverage and make strategic adjustments
- Represent the company at networking events, community functions, and client meetings
Compensation:
Pay will be offered based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.

Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead role
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and close deals
- Strong team management, coaching, and accountability skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up
- Experience with CRM systems and performance tracking
- Local travel required must have reliable transportation
