As a Cyber Security Analyst, your responsibilities will be:

  • Deploy, administer, and monitor the Azure security architecture for protecting sensitive data deployed into different types of cloud and cloud systems.
  • Maintains reference architectures and best practices, including the use of templates and automation, that allow for secure, high-performing, and highly available solutions.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Enterprise Security for other Technology teams within the organization for all matters related to cloud security reporting to the Security Division.
  • Administer, implement, and monitor network security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information for Evertec.
  • Identify and define system security requirements where needed & create and document SOP and protocols.
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices/solutions and dependencies.
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Executes strategies to increase Cloud Security in the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the integration of cloud security architecture into overall enterprise architecture.
  • Design and develop security architectures for cloud and cloud/hybrid-based systems.
  • Ensure the project's compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Information Technology or Computer Science is required.
  • Certifications: Windows Server, Azure Cloud, Security+
  • One (1) to three (3) years of previous experience as a cyber security analyst or related.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Possess a firm understanding of the enterprise offerings in the design, development, and implementation of cloud security standards.
  • Communicate effectively both oral and written in Spanish and English.
  • Speaks correctly, and fluently and provides clear information to different audiences comprehensively and assertively, including but not limited to internal and external clients, team members, executives, and consultants, among others.
  • Knows how to identify relevant resources, conduct research, observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all of them.
  • The ability to analyze complex data, situations, and problems to identify root causes to design and implement adequate solutions according to the problems or tasks assigned.
