Summer Paid Internship 2024 - 10 weeks

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on various industries to define key aspects of the space, attractive sectors and determine which ones to pursue
• Develop an industry snapshot on the chosen targets that include top players, acquirers in the space, exciting growth drivers, market size, margin trends, industry KPIs etc.
• Source attractive businesses in the industry and conduct initial due diligence on these targets
• Support and participate in negotiations in connection with potential investment opportunities
• Perform research and data entry related to an operational project for the fund

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or an MBA
• Basic financial analysis and accounting skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail, as well as strong problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in teams and in a collaborative, entrepreneurial atmosphere
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
• Superb organization and multi-tasking skills
