Our client, iTerra Solutions, is looking for a  Mid-Level Software Developer.

Location: Puerto Rico (On-Site or Hybrid)

Salary Range: $60,000 -$120,000

Position Summary:

As a Mid-Level Software Developer at iTerra, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable applications. Youll work across the full software lifecyclefrom backend logic to CI/CD pipelinesand collaborate across product, engineering, and systems teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and deploy modern software systems in languages like Python, Java, C/C++, or JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to define and implement features.
• Maintain and debug existing codebases across Linux and Windows environments.
• Integrate cloud-native technologies, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and security validation.
• Solve complex software challenges with elegant, scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field + 5+ years experience OR Masters degree + 3+ years experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience with Linux/Windows dev environments.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD clearance preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and version control systems.
• Front-end experience in React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience in secure system development (SELinux, Windows lockdowns, etc.)
