Our client, iTerra Solutions, is looking for a  Mid-Level RF Engineer.

Location: Puerto Rico (On-Site or Hybrid)

Salary Range: $60,000-$120,000

Position Summary:

As a Mid-Level RF Engineer at iTerra, you will contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and integration of Radio Frequency (RF) systems and components across terrestrial, satellite, and hybrid platforms. Youll work on antennas, RF circuits, wireless systems, and embedded components-turning bold ideas into operational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design RF systems and components (antennas, filters, amplifiers, matching networks).
• Perform RF simulations using HFSS, CST, ADS, or MATLAB.
• Test and troubleshoot systems using spectrum/network analyzers, signal generators, and other RF lab tools.
• Support integration and verification of RF subsystems into broader platforms.
• Contribute to documentation, schematics, and technical reports. 
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams of hardware, software, and systems engineers.
• Stay current on emerging RF technologies, trends, and tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in RF design and lab testing.
• Proficiency in RF simulation software and measurement techniques.
• Understanding of communication standards (e.g., LTE, 5G, SATCOM, Wi-Fi).
• Deep knowledge of impedance matching, S-parameters, RF propagation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a related field.
• Experience with military or satellite communication systems.
• Familiarity with EMC/EMI compliance, spectrum policy, and FCC/ITU regulations.
• Embedded hardware/software integration knowledge.
• Eligibility for U.S. Secret Security Clearance (preferred but not required).

Training & Development:

• NVIDIA AI for RF Systems (aligned with NVIDIA AI Roadmap)
• Azure Environment training across multiple areas
• Cybersecurity in RF Environments using NVIDIA Secure Stack
