Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Preparing cost estimates at various stages of design from schematic and budget to detailed take-off and pricing.
• Participating in project meetings, reviewing schedules, and preparing reports.
• Exploring documentations in order to gain a deep understanding of project requirements.
• Building and maintaining healthy and long-term relationships with vendors, clients, and other project managers.
• Performing complex analysis of collected data and metrics.
• Visiting sites, warehouses, and other venues necessary in order to do estimates.
• Communicating with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors efficiently; and preparing economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Lead and manage for the Cost Estimating Discipline
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate technical work for projects or tasks.

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree
• Engineer in Training (EIT) License or Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
• 10 years of experience
• Proficiency using RS Means Cost Estimating Format.
• Must have fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
