Our client, SNC Technical Services, LLC is looking for a Customer Service Representative.
Summary
The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for overseeing all billing and collections processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role involves managing support roles, overseeing customer service satisfaction, collaborating with cross functional teams, and continuously improving processes.
Essential Functions
- Processes customer billings on timely and accurate basis and ensures proper approval and coding on invoices
- Ensures billing is properly submitted and/or uploaded to customer payment platforms.
- Research billing issues in a diligent and timely manner
- Process, upload/post, submit appeals/adjustments to portals as needed.
- Record customer payments by entering them into in our system
- Assists customers in person and by phone, addressing questions regarding billing and provides high-quality customer service as necessary.
- Conduct clients visits within and outside of Puerto Rico
- Managing fabric quotations and managing new orders.
- Developing positive relationships and maintaining rapport with customers and suppliers, driving to continuous improvement goals of optimal cost, quality, service, availability, and delivery.
- Supporting customers by providing exceptional customer service and providing information regarding products and availability in a proactive, timely, and professional manner including claims, discounts or returns.
- Tracking product delivery schedules and coordinating with BVP
- Negotiate purchase orders.
- Handling sample requests.
- Coordinating the return of damage goods, arranging for replacements or credits, and documenting all transaction
- Prepare and present regular reports on billing performance to Senior Management.
- Process documents for the UPS/Fed-Ex shipments and coordinate the deliveries with BVP.
- Assist General Accountant in monitoring and reviewing aging customer accounts helping to negotiate resolutions
- Ensure safety protocols are being followed and report any safety hazards or concerns
- Maintain organized and clean the work area assigned
- Assist with other office duties as assigned.
- Responsible for adherence to the policies, procedures, and instructions of the company quality systems

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Service or similar position.
- Bilingual. Fluent spoken Spanish and English.
Work Environment
Work environment characteristics described are only representative of those encountered by the employee while performing essential job functions.
Work is performed inside our facility at normal temperature, air conditioning, good lighting, and clean areas with minimum risk. Noise level is moderate. Standard office equipment is used to perform tasks: computer, telephone, photocopier, and calculator.
