Chief Accounting Officer

Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to work closely with the CFO. This position is responsible for the reporting of financial operations to Management and support analysis of business decisions for the Company. The primary responsibility is to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all accounting functions and compliance.

What you will do:

  • Support the CFO as a key contributing member of the Management team
  • Supports the execution of the financial strategy
  • Responsible for keeping the Company in compliance with all local and federal regulators.
  • Oversees general ledger, financial accounts, cost controls, and financial and auditing functions
  • Analyze different business scenarios and the impact on Companys finance.
  • Prepare quarterly/annual financial reports
  • Manage the preparation, consolidation and reporting of all business lines of the Company.
  • Ensure all financial practices are in compliance (GAAP/SEC)
  • Responsible for leading the implementation of new accounting pronouncements
  • Monitors regulatory filings

    Education:

    Bachelors degree in Accounting.
    CPA Certification

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in regulated industries.
  • Previous experience working with complex financial transactions, and financial statements
  • Strong technical accounting skills and GAAP accounting
  • Understanding of SEC rules and regulations
  • Budget experience
  • Previous experience in financial consolidations of several business lines
  • Supervisory experience
  • Fully bilingual
