PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

  • Lead the banking services & support and operations team to formulate & implement operations strategies and plans to achieve the Bank’s business objective. Assist HOD to provide overall banking support functions.
  • Responsible to develop, review, implement & keep up-to-date bank wide banking support / operations policy & procedures. Ensure efficient & effective banking support services with compliance to internal, external & regulatory requirement.
  • Responsible to design & launch new products; develop & implement new banking services / delivery channel to achieve the Bank’s business goals that covers all marketing activity, program, promotion, awareness channel & campaign.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist HOD and lead the team to provide overall strategic banking support, operations and marketing communication functions of the Bank including annual budget and procurement.
  • Act as a strategic business partner and provide advice, update, report, market intelligence to management / business on banking support / operational related matters in achieving the Bank’s business objective.
  • Develop, implement and maintain sound operational functions policies, procedures and guidelines that are in compliance with the relevant Acts, Laws, Rules of the National Bank of Cambodia, directives and guidelines issued by the regulatory bodies and the Bank’s internal policies and procedures. Ensure the staff adherence to the policies and procedures.
  • Establishing, maintaining and enforce a proper supervisory program and competent system of internal controls for the Bank. Assist HOO in managing and ensuring proper and smooth running of the operational activities, both Head Office and Branch, including reviewing and streamlining the operational workflow and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Plan, organize, manage, implement and review to ensure all banking, operations & service delivery infrastructures including system, equipment, terminal & communication network are available all time for operational / business needs and adequate / up-to-date a to support the business growth,
  • Act as liaison person between the Bank and internal / external party for all reporting / submission in regards to operations.
  • Lead the marketing communication team to ensure compliance of all CI with Group’s policy and local regulatory requirement.
  • Assist HOD who is a member of the Payments Committee of the Association of Banks in Cambodia.
  • Assist HOD at all discussions/meeting with regards to Banking Operations called by The Association of Banks in Cambodia. The National Bank of Cambodia & other regulators.
  • Assist HOD in specific Working Groups formed for regulatory implementation.
  • Other tasks assign by management from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Degree in Business & Marketing or any related field
  • Formal Education:
  • Degree or Diploma holder with 10 years bank / financial industry related working experience in operations and/or product development.
  • 5 years in managerial role or similar capacity to lead & manage in banking support / operations / marketing communication / products development.
  • Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry):
  • Knowledge in overall banking support / operations functions in the bank including system, infrastructure, equipment In depth understanding of financial product research, design, launching and related marketing / promotion program and plan.
  • Business oriented planning & organization skill
  • Analytical, problem solving & decision making skill
  • Public relation, presentation & negotiation skill.
