Role Purpose

The Sales Manager, Drilling Equipment & Services, will be responsible for expanding Amzone's footprint in the drilling sector by promoting and selling a range of products and services tailored for onshore and offshore drilling operations. This includes wire ropes, lifting equipment, rigging solutions, and inspection services. The role requires a deep understanding of drilling operations, client needs, and the ability to provide customized solutions that enhance operational efficiency and safety. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and target potential clients in the drilling sector, including oil and gas companies, drilling contractors, and service providers.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

2. Product & Service Promotion

  • Promote Amzone's range of products and services relevant to drilling operations, such as:
    • High-performance wire ropes and synthetic ropes
    • Lifting and rigging equipment
    • Inspection and testing services
    • Customized rigging solutions

3. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively.

4. Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop and adjust sales strategies based on market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.

5. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and service execution.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
  • Provide regular reports and forecasts to the management team.

Candidate Profile Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in sales or project management are advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on drilling equipment and services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing client relationships.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to drilling operations.

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of drilling equipment and operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
