Role Objective

The Finance Executive will support the smooth and efficient functioning of company's finance operations, focusing on payment processing, export LC handling, financial data entry, reporting, and documentation. The role is ideal for candidates looking to build their foundation in corporate finance and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payment Processing

  • Prepare and review documentation for local and related party payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and employee expense payments through approved channels.

2. Export LC Handling

  • Manage the end-to-end documentation and application process for Export Letters of Credit (LCs).

  • Liaise with banks and internal stakeholders to meet LC requirements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

3. Financial Data Entry & Accuracy

  • Record daily transactions and accounting entries in the organizations financial systems.

  • Verify and validate financial data for completeness and accuracy before posting.

4. Reporting & Monitoring

  • Update and maintain daily MIS (Management Information System) reports to facilitate internal tracking of financial activities.

  • Monitor, reconcile, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

5. Documentation & Filing

  • Maintain comprehensive and well-organized electronic and physical filing systems for all finance-related documents, including payment records, LC files, and statutory documents.

6. General Support

  • Provide administrative and general support to the Finance Manager and the wider finance team as needed, including assisting in audits and any ad-hoc financial projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Educational Background:

  • Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 03 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of financial processes, documentation standards, and accounting principles.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is a plus.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.

  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to take initiative in supporting finance operations.

Preferred Industry Background

  • Manufacturing, trading, or industrial sectors preferred, but not required.
