Job Title: IT Support Specialist
is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our internal staff and external clients with their computer systems, networks, and software applications. You will troubleshoot technical issues, perform maintenance and updates, and provide user training as needed. This position requires strong technical aptitude, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
- Provide first level technical support to end users via email, phone, or in person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, and printers
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating system images
- Configure and administer network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Perform backup and recovery procedures for servers and desktops
Train end users on how to use software applications and basic computing concepts
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for emergency response to critical issues
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field OR significant prior experience working in IT support
- Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and standards
- Knowledge in SAML, Oauth2 or OpenConnect
- Familiarity with enterprise software suites such as Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, and Google G Suite
- Knowledge on identity service / SSO like OKTA, Keycloak, Amazon Webservices etc...
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere and Hyper-V. Worked on platform like Azure and virtual Microsoft setups.
- Knowledge Azure AD/Active Directory.
- Programming Knowledge is a plus: Languages such as C++, Python, HTML, CSS, PHP.
