Job Summary:

The Operations Manager at My Aire Heating & Cooling is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of the service and installation departments. This role ensures efficient scheduling, job profitability, quality control, and strong team performance across technicians and installation managers. The Operations Manager will implement operational strategies, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure consistent service quality while supporting company growth and profitability.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

  • Manage and supervise Service Technicians and Installation Managers.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to field teams.
  • Conduct weekly technician meetings to review performance, safety, and operational updates.
  • Ensure team members follow company procedures and service standards.

Scheduling & Dispatch Oversight

  • Oversee dispatch operations to ensure efficient technician scheduling and route optimization.
  • Coordinate scheduling priorities with office staff to maximize technician productivity.
  • Address scheduling conflicts or urgent service needs as they arise.

Operational Performance & KPIs

  • Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for technicians and installation teams.
  • Monitor operational metrics such as job completion rates, callbacks, and technician efficiency.
  • Review performance data and provide recommendations to improve operational outcomes.

Job Profitability & Financial Oversight

  • Track and review job profitability across service and installation projects.
  • Ensure jobs are completed within budget and according to company standards.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase profitability.

Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction

  • Manage service callbacks and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure consistent workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with technicians to address performance concerns and improve service quality.

Inventory & Equipment Management

  • Oversee equipment purchasing and inventory management.
  • Ensure technicians have the necessary tools, parts, and materials to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering as needed.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $80,000 – $120,000 annually
  • Bonus eligibility tied to company profitability and performance metrics
