Toneworks Music Therapy is looking for a dependable, goal-driven therapeutic learning center Program Manager to join our team serving clients in the Twin Cities Metro area. Therapeutic Learning Center Program Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to serve as the Therapeutic Learning Center Program Manager, responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team in creating a supportive, engaging environment for adults with diverse learning needs. This role includes overseeing daily programming, collaborating with staff and families, and ensuring individualized therapeutic and educational experiences.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Collaboration

  • Develop staff-client schedules ensuring appropriate ratios and balanced staff needs
  • Lead and collaborate with therapists, teachers, and program assistant to support therapeutic learning plans, accessible field trips, and daily activities.
  • Conduct team meetings and staff training sessions

Program Management

  • Supervise and manage the implementation of therapeutic strategies and programming, including adaptive technology and regulation strategies
  • Support program activities, including leading occasional pre-prepped sessions or co-leading groups as needed
  • Manage staff attendance and ensure coverage during call outs

Client Support and Development

  • Assess client needs, design adaptive strategies, and implement therapeutic and behavioral interventions
  • Communicate regularly with families, providing weekly updates and addressing complex concerns
  • Document services and maintain accurate records

Secondary Responsibilities (as needed):

  • Assist participants with personal care needs, (e.g. handwashing, feeding)
  • Escort participants safely within the facility or during offsite activities
  • Model and encourage participation in therapeutic and leisure activities
  • Create and utilize communication boards, schedules, and adaptive materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Special Education, Therapy, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • Experience with adults with disabilities in educational or therapeutic settings.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in Special Education and knowledge of sensory integration techniques are preferred.
  • Ability to de-escalate and support individuals in dysregulation.

Job Details:

  • Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM.

Compensation

This is a salaried position. You must be able to come to the office 35 hours per week with the remaining hours being flexible. Compensation for the Therapeutic Learning Center position has a salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year depending on level of experience and additional qualifications. Salaried employees are also eligible for a technology stipend, continuing education reimbursement, PTO, ESST, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
