About the job Payroll Specialist
We are hiring a Payroll Specialist for one of our clients. Our client is a locally owned, family-oriented company that is well-established in the oil and gas industry. We are looking for a good-natured, hard-working Payroll Specialist who wants to build a rewarding career in our energetic and collaborative work environment.
The ideal candidate to join our team will have the following qualifications:
- PCP designation or candidacy
- 4+ years of payroll experience preferred
- Experience in oil and gas
- In-depth knowledge of Alberta provincial payroll legislation
- Above-average communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Adaptability and great problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs mandatory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Processing full payroll cycle for 200+ employees
- Responding to employees' requests and concerns regarding payroll issues
- Preparing payroll reports for Management as required
- Other duties as required depending on time restraints
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27-$35 per hour
