Position: Technical Project Manager

Rate: $600 Per Day Outside

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our client's team for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering complex technical projects within the fintech sector. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely with occasional travel to the Reed office in England.

Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, specifically focusing on fintech ERP transformations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project team members to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress against key milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and third-party consultants, to ensure timely completion of project tasks within budget constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to overcome challenges and obstacles.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives, priorities, and timelines.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders, including project progress, budget status, risk assessments, and key decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on fintech ERP transformations.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale, complex projects within the financial services industry.
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems, technologies, and architectures, with hands-on experience in fintech solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid grasp of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with the ability to adapt and apply them in dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to quickly assess situations, identify issues, and devise practical solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project management environments is a plus.
