Position: Field CTO, Northeast
Location: Northeast region (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut)
Overview: Our client is a leading provider of technology solutions and services for organizations of all sizes. We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Field CTO to join our team in the Northeast region. As a Field CTO, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to our clients in the Northeast, helping them to design and implement cutting-edge solutions to meet their business needs.
Candidates must reside within a 90-minute commuting distance of Downtown New York City. Travel required up to 25% (At least once a week to NYC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical advisor and subject matter expert for clients in the Northeast region, including conducting meetings and presentations to understand their technology needs and providing recommendations on solutions and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your technical expertise to develop proposals and deliver presentations.
- Work closely with our engineering and consulting teams to design and implement complex solutions for clients, ensuring that they meet their business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements,and provide thought leadership to our clients on emerging technologies and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and technical teams.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent our client and network with potential clients and partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a technical advisory role, with at least 5 years in a leadership or advisory position either as a Corporate CTO or Field CTO.
- Extensive knowledge of a wide range of technologies, including networking, security, cloud, and data center solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex technology solutions for clients.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel within the Northeast region as needed.
- In depth knowledge around Data center, cloud and automation technologies
