Registered Nurse

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities: 

- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status 

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians 

- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical history 

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans 

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions and treatment options 

- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures 

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records 

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures 

- Provide catheter care and ensure proper hygiene for patients - Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions 

- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner, Athenahealth, or other similar platforms for documentation purposes 

- Demonstrate proficiency in internal medicine practices 

- Stay updated on workers compensation laws and regulations related to healthcare practices 

- Collaborate with laboratory staff for specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results 

- Familiarity with neonatal ventilators for specialized care when required 

- Provide medical-surgical nursing care as needed

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team 

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and adherence to protocols - Critical thinking skills to assess patient conditions, identify problems, and implement appropriate interventions 

Qualifications: 

- Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]
