As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with our dentists to provide high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting during dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, and providing support to both patients and dental staff. We are looking for Dental Assistants in the following locations: 

  • Georgetown
  • South Austin 78745


What you will do:

  • Greet and prepare dental patients
  • Assist dentists during procedures and maintain instruments and supplies
  • Perform basic and some moderately complex dental procedures
  • Assisting in handing instruments and materials to dentists and keep patients mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures, and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
  • Recording patients health histories
  • Taking and developing x-rays and preparing dental compounds
  • Taking pouring and trimming dental impressions, and seating temporary restorations.

Requirements:

  • Active Dental Assistant Certificate
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience as Dental Assistant, minimum of one (1) year
  • Proficiency with EMR system
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are a definite plus
