Our LVNs collaborate with licensed medical personnel and/or Registered Nurses to support patient examinations and treatments. They gather data and conduct targeted nursing assessments following the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act.



We are looking for LVN's for the following locations: 

  • Round Rock - OB
  • Georgetown - Senior


Daily Job Duties:

  • Obtain, evaluate, and record patient history in medical file
  • Obtain and measure vital signs and record information on patients' charts
  • Assist in the examination of patients under the direction of licensed medical staff and/or Registered Nurse
  • May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Prepare and administer medications according the five (5) rights of medication administration
  • Perform routine diagnostic and laboratory tests
  • Referrals sending referrals, closing out referral when consultations are received in clinic
  • Take incoming STAT calls from Quest and ARA, document, and send to provider.
  • Complete data entry into Nextgen, state lab results, Hemoglobin and leads
  • Research companies that offer the services (Speech Therapy/ Occupational Therapy/ Physical Therapy) that the physician has referred, that is in network with the patients insurance and request authorization.

Clinic Duties:

  • Prepare and maintain examination/treatment rooms, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and inventory of medical supplies and materials.
  • As needed complete prior authorizations for medication
  • Synagis: placing order and sending authorization to insurance company, calling parent to bring child in monthly for administration ()
  • Process medical records , Complete incident reports
  • Explain and educate patients on treatment and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical competencies outlined by the Quality Council and apply standing orders established by the Medical Executive Committee and Quality Council.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSE:

  • Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing school
  • Valid State of Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSE:

  • Previous nursing experience in a Clinic/Outpatient environment
  • Previous work using Electronic Health Records (EMR)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills
