Role Description

As our Founding Software Engineer, you will have a vital role in laying the groundwork for our technology platform. You will shape our technical direction and architecture, contribute to our product roadmap, and build a high-performance engineering culture from scratch.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance software using our tech stack.
- Collaborate with founders and other team members to create a tech blueprint and execute our vision.
- Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
- Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.

Qualifications

- Strong experience with our tech stack: Frontend (NextJS, React, Tailwind, Typescript, Vercel) and Backend (AWS, DynamoDB, CDK, Lambdas, API Gateway, SQS, Amazon EventBridge Scheduler, CloudFront, S3, Redshift, ElasticSearch, ElasticCache, and Github Actions).
- Proven experience in building and scaling systems from the ground up.
- Able to navigate ambiguity and make sound engineering decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a relentless drive for quality.
- A team player with top-notch communication skills.
